Quiet Riot proves a big finish doesn't have to be a loud one.
It's a four-part compound from Pyroworx, 138 shots strung across nearly a minute, and almost all of it visual. Wave after wave of colour and pattern with the volume turned right down. Rated F2, a garden firework: keep spectators at least 8 metres back for safety.
The sort of grand centrepiece you can run without rattling every window on the street. Low-noise usually means small; this one just means quiet.
Fawkes' Top Tip
A compound is several cakes pre-linked into one show. Leave it strapped in its outer packaging and fire it as one piece: one fuse runs the lot. It fires in a fan, so the shots spread left to right across the sky. Check the arrow on the box and point that side at your audience.
