Sparklers that burn in colour instead of the usual gold. Klasek's Neon Sparklers come twenty to the pack at 28cm each, throwing bright neon pinks, greens, blues and purples for around forty seconds a stick.
Twenty is enough to go round a decent-sized gathering without anybody waiting their turn, and the colour reads far better in photographs than plain gold does. Rated F1, a low-hazard firework: safe to use with as little as 1 metre of space.
The colour is the whole point. Once you have handed a few of these round, the gold ones look a bit ordinary.
Fawkes' Top Tip
Sparklers burn over 1000°C, hotter than lava. They cause over 80% of firework injuries, more than every other type combined. Hold them by the wooden handle, never by the burning end. The moment one goes out, drop it into a metal bucket of cold water. Don't trust a 'cold' sparkler. The wire stays scorching for ages.
