Take Cover
The name is a friendly warning: when this thing goes off, you'll know about it.
Take Cover is what we call a "dump cake." That means it doesn't mess around with a slow firing tempo. Instead, it dumps its entire load of 25 shots in a frantic 5-second window. It creates an instantaneous wall of pyro that fills the sky before the first piece of cardboard has even hit the ground.
Fired in a wide fan, it launches a volley of silver tails that burst into red and green tipped palms, all finishing with a heavy cloud of silver crackle. Because it is 1.3G, the noise is sharp and the impact is immediate. It’s the perfect way to inject a burst of adrenaline into a display.
Galactic Top Tip:
This is a fanned cake, meaning it fires in a wide spread to the left and right. You must place it with the long side facing the audience to see the full width of the effect. If you turn it sideways, it will just look like a messy cluster of shots firing away from you.
