Galactic Update: March 2025
Hello again, Galactic family!
Spring is upon us, and we're busy behind the scenes preparing for another fantastic year of fireworks. Things are beginning to heat up, and we've got some exciting news to share. From the much-anticipated return of an iconic rocket to some brilliant new products from Pyroworx and Celtic, there's plenty to look forward to in 2025!
The Return of the King: War Hawk Reborn
Bright Star Fireworks' War Hawk has long been the UK's favourite rocket. For over a decade, this rocket was unmatched, famous for its huge break, loud burst, and exceptional value for money. Over the years, countless competitors have tried—and repeatedly failed—to replicate the legendary War Hawk, even going as far as mimicking its name. We've seen attempts such as the Air Hawks and Hawk Slayers, but for a long time, none matched the original's quality and consistency.
However, firework technology and production quality have improved significantly over recent years, and newer rockets have emerged. Last year, in our popular 'Rocket Wars' video, we put the War Hawks up against some of the latest challengers—the Evolution Fireworks Falcons, Cube Fireworks Hawk Slayers, and Primed Pyrotechnics Solar Flare rockets. To be completely honest, the War Hawks showed their age, and for us, the new contenders outperformed them.
But Bright Star hasn't taken this lying down. We are thrilled to announce that in 2025, we'll witness "The Return of the King". Bright Star has redesigned the legendary War Hawks, not only increasing the powder weight from 60 grams to a more powerful 72 grams per rocket but also enhancing the quality of the powder itself. This redesign promises bigger bursts, brighter colours, and louder bangs than ever before.
We can't wait to get our hands on these newly reborn rockets, and rest assured, as soon as they land, we'll film them so you can see for yourselves. We anticipate massive demand, and it's fair to say these new War Hawks aim to reclaim their rightful throne as the UK's rocket of choice.
Product Showcase: Pyroworx Storm
I just want to draw attention to the incredible Storm compound from Pyroworx. Well, to be fully transparent, Storm was initially ordered for last season but sadly arrived late, docking in late November and missing the entire 2024 fireworks season.
However, we're looking on the bright side! It means we can officially unveil it as one of the first landed products for the 2025 season.
Storm is truly outstanding. I may sound like a broken record when talking about Pyroworx, but their craftsmanship and attention to detail are simply second to none. Every element of Storm—from the stunning initial low-noise fanned effect that draws you in, to the sudden transition into a relentless and powerful crackle—is perfectly choreographed. This cake lasts almost a minute and a half and comes at an unbeatable price. I genuinely challenge anyone to find a more complete compound cake on the market today!
Exciting New Low-Noise Cakes from Celtic
Low-noise fireworks continue to grow in popularity year after year. As we mentioned previously, Celtic Fireworks consistently produce some of the best low-noise effects available, and we've recently taken delivery of some absolute stunners. Two cakes in particular really caught our eye. They are now in stock and ready to make your displays truly memorable.
Colourful Crossette
Colourful Crossette delivers 25 shots of pure enchantment. Each burst gracefully reaches its peak before breaking into shimmering red and green crossettes, painting the night sky with delicate, radiant hues—exceptional value and quality.
